Sail to Edfu on board Judi Dahabiya Nile Cruise and explore the temple of Horus which was built during the Ptolemiac era on top of an earlier temple to Horus. This Ptolemaic temple, built between 237 and 57 BC, is one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Egypt. The temple was dedicated to Horus the falcon headed god whose eyes were the sun and the moon. Sail to Kom Ombo which was built during the Greco Roman period, was constructed on the ruins of a much older temple which was called "Ber Sobek" or the house of the god Sobek. This older temple was erected during the reigns of King Tuthmosis III and then during the ruling period of Queen Hatshepsut. Then sail to Aswan on board Judi Dahabiya Nile Cruise where you will watch the beautiful surroundings and get to visit Philae Temple which built to honor the goddess Isis, this was the last temple built in the classical Egyptian style. The Temple was relocated by a multinational UNESCO team from Philae Island, to its new location on Agilkia Island to protect it from the Nile Flooding. You will also visit the High Dam the great Egyptian project that was built to protect Egypt from the annual flooding of the Nile River.
